Gram staining allows the examination of bacteria under the microscope by differentiating stains. Thus the bacteria can be divided into groups. This work was presented for the first time as part of the exhibition "Infected Structures" in Sokołowsko–Poland. The exhibition site was part of a sanatorium, which was mainly specialized in the healing of patients with lung tuberculosis. Mycobacterium tuberculosis causes this infection. Light chains installed in a showcase represent the movement of the bacteria in an abstract way.
