MELTING POINT

2019

Metal Tubes, Radiant Heaters, PVC-Blocks, Lashing Strap
Variable size

Marlene Posch and me implemented MELTING POINT for radio, a cooperation project between the Salvatorians and the class transmedia art from university of applied art. The narrative being the cold in church buildings during the winter. Radiant heaters are used to provide light and heat. Unlike many other light sculptures working with maximum light production, this installation focuses on maximum heat production. The radiant heaters are attached to aluminium tubes which seem to give way in the heat.
